Rumour has it that somebody in the family was a lady in waiting to a Russian princess in London.
I have heard this rumour from two people in the family who did not know of each other's existence until approximately a month ago so I think there is probably something in it.
I have nothing to go on apart from the fact that Olga is not usually a name that was common in England in the 19th Century and, after generations of more usual names, one family called their daughter Olga Edith Maud.
